Being Taught From My Wagering Errors

1st to explain why I write this essay. I have been betting on the web or at land based betting houses for a great many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are penniless. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you are just having fun until you decide to track your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you try the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic almost never ever works. Say you are playing on slots, have a bankroll set to the side prior to beginning your action. Don’t go over that limit, regardless how captivating. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate pot. Don’t risk your winnings no matter what. Once you have gone through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it’s online or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, a different time.

Keep in mind, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, do not even start.
